Too often, this wonderful magazine dont have retina graphics inside. Thats too bad.

Forced to use the iPads awkward accessibility zoom, which makes reading a massive pain in the neck. Mag looks interesting but, in its current interface design, a non-starter.

Trying to view the 360 photo in a iPad 1 crashes the application. Please fix it

I paid for a year subscription for this magazine and it never, ever worked. Always wants me to pay every issue. Dont buy it, its a scam.

I paid for a 1year subscription and got the first couple issues OK..but.then when I tried to download June issue I got a message saying I needed to update ... So I updated....and now if i want the June issue i have to pay $3.99 for it!#??? Avoid this ripoff- dont waste your money on an e-subscription that doesnt give u what u paid for.

I paid for the subscription but cant find the magazines anywhere. Not in my newsstand or desktop etc. ummmm where did my $$ go? Unhappy

As others have requested since 2012 - please add portrait mode functionality. Youre the only ones without it and most readers wont convert to subscribers until you do.

The digital version of NG Traveler was a visual delight until the appearance of the May 2015 issue. Unexpectedly the format has deteriorated to a tiny, two pages per screen rendition which is now annoyingly cluttered and makes for an unpleasant reading experience. The new tiny font and the shrinking down of pictures results in a congested, irritating experience. The use of pinch to expand feature is a poor substitute for the lavish prior display. Please reconfigure. The new format is a drag. July 2015 update. Cancelled auto-renewal on account of magazines now apparent permanent visual degradation on iPad edition. Sad example of a so-called upgrade becoming a major devolution . For a publication known for design and visual excellence, this is a massive failure.

Something has changed and I dont like it I did not even bother reading the latest issues, too much of a hassle :(

Previously it was designed for ipad, but now its simply bad copy of printed version. You cant even turn screen and read in vertical layout.

Please! Make russian version! Please!

I had my previous digital subscriptions on zinio...and while I am not trying to say zinio is better, I has never experienced the absolute lousy way in which, I guess, one is supposed to subscribe and download issues of ng traveler. After paying for an annual subscription, newstand STILL does not allow me to access any magazines. What is so incredibly sad is that an astounding publication like ng would have its undoing because of not having intelligent-enough IT persons to make their magazine accessible in the digital age. Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell if the disconnect is with the newstand app or with the ng service. I am upset, yes, but the contributors to ng should be furious. --------- Updating my comment above. In all fairness, I accepted an emailed offer from ng traveler magazine on a Saturday. And while I couldnt access the subscription over the weekend, today (Monday), I have gained access to my digital subscription. What clued me in to retry accessing the subscription was an emailed "thank you for your order" email that I received today. So I am happy now. Raising my stars from 1 to 5...because, come on, its National Geographic Traveler...you cant beat that.

I have the print edition which I love and purchased directly from national geographic, however it appears that all you do is sign into the app, but if you want to also have a digital version, you have to buy it separately. Thats fine, but DONT try and trick your subscribers. This is one of the few magazines I have in print and since its so photo intensive Im probably better of with the print edition. But really you shouldnt try to scam your print subscribers.

One star since I havent been able to use it. Ive tried several times and I even called them. Nothing. Sigh!

I will be canceling my subscription. I was unable to read the magazine if I was not connected to the Internet. Which meant I could not read it on the plane or anywhere else I did not have Internet connection. When reading the magazine it froze on the "how to use" screen. It did not unfreeze until I was connected to the Internet. Buyer beware.

I do not know what happened but I have not been download the last three latest digital subscriptions on my mini iPad! I did not have any issues in the past and I do not know what has changed! I am connected to WiFi. First, I have to click the download icon several times before it registers that I want to download the magazine(s). Then it looks like it starts to download, then a few seconds later I get the message Download pause, while I am doing nothing to disturb the download. I retried it several times for that months issue and also tried it on the other months, including an older month I had previously downloaded and archived. No luck. Please fix or else can I get a refund for new magazines I am unable to download?

I registered my print subscription today for the tablet downloads. Apparently only the last 6 issues can be downloaded. Anything older still shows a price of $3.99. I clicked on one of the $3.99 issues to see if it was just a bug, but it appears they are no longer available. Other similar magazines do not have this restriction.

I love NG Traveler, but I hate the landscape-only setting of this app. It isnt a good fit for the content and feels gimmicky. The view also makes navigating the editions challenging. I wish I hadnt purchased a full-year subscription because now Im stuck paying for a full year of a publication that grates on my nerves every time I open it. I did see the reviews that warned about this very feature, but thought it wont bother me. Well, it does. Immensely. My recommendation to consumers: purchase a single edition and test before you buy a full year. My recommendation to NG Traveler: go to a portrait view.

I keep entering my subscription information which gets validated. Im asked to create a password, which I do. Then I get a message that there are technical difficulties and I call the phone number listed. I get a message that NGT is having technical difficulties :(( I have been trying for over a week. Dont waste your time!!
